Description This rare Meissen Girl Fisher is molded by Robert Ockelmann Circa 1897. She is hand painted with rich colors and detail. She has a basket of fresh fish at her side and a paddle in her arms. Her back id draped with a fishing net. The base by her feet have flowers and sea shells. Charming depiction of daily life at the end of the 19th Century. She is number Q192 of a pair. On the bottom it has this marked as well as a perfect blue and white crossed sword mark. She has repair to her paddle and her hand.
