A Cylinder Over Bureau Secretaire Bibliotheque of Russian origin in three parts. The top section is two doors with outlined pattern inserts over glass. The cylindrical bureau top slides open. Once opened it reveals twelve small drawers and a central cupboard in the center with a reverse painted Neo- classic goddess on glass. The pull out writing surface is covered by cream tooled leather. Three large drawers on the lower half. It has a sunset fluted pattern in gilt on the sides along with handles. All handles and knobs are of gilt brass. Stands nearly 10 feet high.
