Elizabeth Proctor Sargent was born in Massachusetts on Dec. 22, 1896. In her 20's she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, She was involved in may bay area art fairs, and clubs, and exhibited widely through California. Elizabeth was the sister of American artist Freeman Sargent. During the 1920s and 1930s she was a resident of Marin County. A spinster, she died in Berkeley CA on Jan. 28, 1986.
