Pierre Jaillet is known as a fine painter of the "Côte d'Azur", or in English as the French Riviera. He exhibited around the world. His Orientalist style was also a major part of his repertoire as he painted scenes of life in Morocco, including his depiction of aspects of Middle Eastern life with character portraits of people from those regions. Many of his works were published in books, and articles and still can be found today in print.
