Anthony Migliaccio
An established printmaker and painter since 1970, New Jersey native Anthony Migliaccio has exhibited extensively on the state and national level. His rural and urban environments are in numerous collections internationally. His painting excursions have taken him to scenic locations throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Some notable achievements include: Who's Who in American Art; Signature Artist, Noyes Museum, Oceanville, NJ; Geraldine R. Dodge Fellowship to paint in Italy and France; Lifetime Achievement Award in the Arts, Count Basie Theater, Red Bank, NJ; and the selection of his landscape painting Sandy Hook by EPA Director Christie Todd Whitman to hang in the Ariel Rios Bldg. Washington D.C. His work has been exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Salmagundi Club, the National Arts Club and the Milk Gallery, all in New York City. In New Jersey he has exhibited at the Monmouth Museum, The Noyes Museum, Monmouth University, Kean University, the College of NJ (formerly Trenton State College), Georgian Court University and Brookdale Community College. He has been a guest on NJN and News 12 NJ discussing the arts and has been the featured speaker and host at many art events including the Audubon Artists Annual Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club, NYC and the NJ Governor's Awards in Art Education in Trenton, NJ. Migliaccio is an associate member of the Oil Painters of America, an exhibiting artist member of the Audubon Artists, Inc, NYC, an exhibiting artist member of the Guild of Creative Art, Shrewsbury, NJ, a member of the Plein Air Painters of the Jersey Coast, and a member of the Monmouth County Arts Council, Red Bank, NJ.
Migliaccio earned a bachelor's degree from The College of NJ (formerly Trenton State College) and a master's degree from Kean University (formerly Kean College of NJ). He is a past president of the Art Administrators of NJ, past president of the Art Educators of NJ and past president of the Alliance for Arts Education NJ. Prior to his professional art career he was an art teacher and arts administrator in NJ public schools. He also taught printmaking as an adjunct at Monmouth University.
